If you're reading this, you're either a current customer and you already know your farmers here at WVF, or you're new to buying local and shopping small. You're ready to find local farmers and makers that can shift your shopping to your immediate community, or you simply want to support a small operation instead of supporting huge companies who don't have people and communities in mind.
We're lucky that this area has so many amazing small farms to choose from, and the selection and diversity of available products is impressive to say the least. We've been farming seriously since 2006 and our farm has gone through all sorts of changes, ups and downs, and ins and outs. Over the years we've added and subtracted what worked and what didn't, and our goals for 2022 include getting back out into the community. After quite a long hiatus starting up our sister business The Hungry Diner, and taking over management of our family's inn, The Inn at Valley Farms which is situated on the farm property, we're ready to get back out there and see you on the farm and offer more to do to connect you to your food and farmers.
The pandemic made us realize anew that people need farms and the resiliency of our local foodshed is more important than ever. We added new ways to get our products so that we can reach more people and make shopping small more convenient. So here are the many ways you can get our pasture-raised and grass-fed meats and eggs, plus all of the other local products, including prepared foods, that we now offer!
CURBSIDE PICK-UP: You can place an order on our website 24/7 and pick it up just outside our Farm Store, easy and convenient if you live close and don't have time or wish to shop indoors. This option is free of charge.
HOME DELIVERY: If you live within a roughly 15 mile radius of our farm, you can shop online and choose the home delivery option. We'll personally deliver your order to your door. Not home during the day? Just place a cooler outside and we'll leave your order safe and sound. This option includes a small delivery fee to cover fuel and staffing.
IN-PERSON SHOPPING: Our farm store is a great place to get to know our farm and the wonderful people who help keep it all running. Store hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 10 until 4 all year.
SHIPPING: Not local enough to pick-up, shop in-store, or have your order delivered by hand? Still want to support a small family farm instead of the big meat box aggregators? We ship to quite a few states so click here to see if you live in an eligible state!
PICK-UP AT AT KEENE BUSINESSES: Like the beer at Branch & Blade? You can grab a draught and pick-up your farm order on Fridays at their taproom! Need some tinctures, supplements, or amazing face and body cream? Make it a one-stop shopping experience and pick-up your farm order at Wondrous Roots!
Thank you for your support and we hope that making local shopping a bit more convenient will help you put us and other small farms on your list of places to support! See you soon!
